So I asked dear hubby Rick to check it out. However, in reality, you can lose weight even by consuming tasty food, that too without going through all the preparation processes which are delivered at your doorstep from Nutrisystem. Fitness and nutritional needs vary for both men and women.
When I first purchased the Nutri System, I weighed lbs. I admit it is a slow process, which I do splurge a little, which I have a few flex meals. I just learned of the nutribear incentive and I was wondering do I qualify for the bears? My Wife and I are doing it together. To earn the bears, you must be using the NUMI app on your smartphone, and have an account on http: Hi BK, I had no idea about the bears! So do you have 5 nutribears now? Congrats on your progress. I got an email telling me to claim my first Nutribear!!
But I am not on auto delivery, I get mine from Walmart, will I still get my bear? Your email address will not be published.
Comments I am new to the program and have lost my first 10 lbs. Your best bet would be to contact customer service to get an answer on that one! Trackbacks […] next week in order to get back to that. So this week, an opportunity came at work to apply for a promotion for a Supervisor position.
I have been doing the same job for 8 years now and I'll admit it's comfortable. I know how to do it, I think I do it well, etc. Who was the only person holding me back from change on the outside and the inside???? Is there something you have been putting off doing or holding yourself back from doing?? Posted by Tobi at 8: I'm one of the larger people I see in all the classes, and I'm sure I look dumb doing it; BUT, it's fun and I can be silly if I want to be, and if I can't figure out the moves, I don't really care what anybody thinks.
I actually figure if I can finish any Zumba class, that is a feat in and of itself, so I should be applauded, not made fun of LOL not saying anyone does. I have taken the class with 4 different instructors now and each has been a whole different experience. So if you haven't tried it, you should.
I highly recommend it. Oh and I hated the wii Zumba, so if you didn't like that, don't worry, I find the live class completely different and enjoyable. Posted by Tobi at 5: These last few days at work have been crazy, which have translated over into irritable times at home as well.
With stress, comes more temptations for wanting to return to past eating behaviors and patterns - Emotional Eating. Thankfully I was able to make it through these moments. It involved a lot of deep breaths, self-talk, and gripped fists, but I was able to stay true to the Nutri-system plan, and I am proud of myself for that. One thing that helped, was being very prepared with having my meals and snacks on hand, so that I didn't get real hunger to make fighting off temptation even more difficult.
I also noticed this week how much my body responded to places and times and moments, bringing food to my mind. For example, I was driving back from a doctor's appointment and I wanted to stop by Dairy Queen for a treat as I would sometimes in the past.
I was so stressed yesterday and I walked into a Target and my first thought was to go to an aisle and buy donuts or cookies or cake. I know this journey is not going to be easy. Portion control on day to day food was not always my biggest struggle. I know that I can face these struggles and become stronger. I need to find other ways to face and deal with the emotion, instead of using food to put a band-aid on or hide the scratch of what is wrong. Week one is almost done. I am excited to get on the scale on Sunday and see my progress.
Posted by Tobi at Tuesday, May 1, Palace of Success. Nutrisystem's website has something called the "Daily Dose" which is a little article which is like food for thought or words of wisdom. I liked the article yesterday. But believe it or not, there are times when being able to forget things can actually be pretty helpful. For instance, something you definitely should try and wipe from your mind: Maybe you've lost weight before maybe even with Nutrisystem , and despite your great success, you managed to fall back into old habits.
So what can you do about it? Why didn't it work before? Maybe you just weren't ready to commit. Maybe you had too many other things going on in your life to take it as seriously as you should have. Whatever the reason, it didn't work. And now, it's time to move on. Because this time, things are going to be different. You've got all of the tools you need to make a positive change in your life, and this time, you're going to make it happen. So put that forgetful mind to good use by leaving those past mistakes behind.
Now is a whole different start on your journey to a whole new you. No wonder it collapses! Posted by Tobi at 7: Sunday, April 29, A year later Somebody asked me the other day if I was still keeping this blog. I can't believe when I logged on that the last post was just around a year ago! My how time flies. I guess that's a good guage of how long it's been since I've tried to really do something about being healthier and getting back in shape.
Here we go again: I will be 40 next month, and while being 40 is really no different than the year before, you do start thinking ALOT about your life. It is a big milestone. It's next to Mid-life crisis age event hehe.
